caprese salad
A quick and easy no-cook appetizer that is perfect for a summer gathering
Servings 12
- Bunch of fresh basil , rinsed, leaves removed
- 2 containers (8 oz each) of fresh mozzarella balls (also called bocconcini)
- 2 pints of cherry or grape tomatoes , rinsed
- toothpicks
- Dressing of your choice to serve
Assemble by inserting toothpick into cheese, basil and tomato
Arrange on tray and serve with salad dressing
Keep refrigerated until ready to serve
