caprese salad

A quick and easy no-cook appetizer that is perfect for a summer gathering
Servings 12


  • Bunch of fresh basil , rinsed, leaves removed
  • 2 containers (8 oz each) of fresh mozzarella balls (also called bocconcini)
  • 2 pints of cherry or grape tomatoes , rinsed
  • toothpicks
  • Dressing of your choice to serve


  1. Assemble by inserting toothpick into cheese, basil and tomato
  2. Arrange on tray and serve with salad dressing
  3. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve
