Blueberry Sangria
A absolutely delicious blueberry sangria with a touch of cinnamon!

- 2 bottles of red wine
- 8 ounces of blueberry vodka
- 2 pints of fresh blueberries (reserve some for serving), rinsed and stems removed
- 1.5 cups sugar , (10.5 ounces)
- 1.5 cups water
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- 4 to 5 nectarines , sliced (more for serving)
In a large sauce pan, combine the blueberries, water and sugar
Heat over medium flame until sugar has dissolved, about 4 to 5 minutes
Add cinnamon sticks and continue heating for about 2 to 3 minutes
Cool mixture and then combine with wine and vodka in a large pitcher
Add fruit and chill for at least 6 hours
To serve, add fresh slices of nectarine and blueberries
Garnish with additional cinnamon sticks if desired.
