avocado tartare

A delicious spin on steak tartare using avocados

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons minced red onion
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped capers (drained)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 small Jalapeno , seeded and diced
  • 3 drops Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 avocados , peeled and diced
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Combine first 8 ingredients in a small bowl and stir.
  • Gently fold diced avocado into bowl with other ingredients
  • Fold the mixture gently trying not to mash the avocado
  • Season to taste with salt and pepper
  • Serve with crackers, veggies, or toasts
